International Exchange Students
Eligibility
1.
Applicants must hold dual citizenship of the Republic of China or a single foreign nationality. Those holding only ROC citizenship may not apply.
2.
Must be nominated by a CUTe sister school before applying.
Application Period
Fall Semester: May to June each year
Spring Semester: October to November each year
Course Schedule
Fall Semester: September to January of the following year
Spring Semester: February to June
Course Information
Credit Requirements: According to CUTe regulations, exchange students must take at least 2 courses or 4 credits per semester. Additionally, students must meet their home school's credit requirements and complete relevant course credit recognition at their home school before arriving.
Accommodation
Exchange students may apply for school dormitories, but due to limited
dormitory space at CUTe, placement is not guaranteed. Applicants must
contact the International Affairs Division when applying. Those not
placed in school dormitories must arrange their own accommodation.

Visa
Foreign Visa
Exchange students must bring their CUTe Chinese-English admission notice to ROC overseas embassies/representative offices to apply for a Visitor Visa or Resident Visa before entering Taiwan. Please check the MOFA website for the location of ROC representative offices. Note: Failure to obtain a visa will result in cancellation of exchange student qualifications.
Cross-Strait Exchange Students
Taiwan Entry Permitc
According to the National Immigration Agency regulations, students with Mainland China citizenship who wish to come to Taiwan for short-term academic exchange must have the inviting school process the "Exit and Entry Permit" (or Taiwan Entry Permit). The CUTe International and Cross-Strait Affairs Office will assist. Failure to complete interviews within the time limit set by the NIA, resulting in delays in obtaining the Taiwan Entry Permit, will result in cancellation of exchange student qualifications.
